Please remember to read pp.225-227 (top) and complete the exercises.

Choose a topic from the board today and start your pre-writing (which you will bring in to show the class on Monday).

Also, type your outline for it.

Students!!!

OK, we have a quiz tomorrow on present perfect tense. Also, re write your paper from Tuesday. Those are the main things you need to work on tonght. Finally, finish the chapter in you reading book, p.16.

Remember to have your vocabulary notebook updated and ready to hand in on Monday.

Next week, the tutor list should be up so you can get help from teachers.

This morning's class seems like a long time ago. What did we do?

Look at Chapter 15 pp.213-215 to prepare for the first essay.
Also, complete the coordinate conjunctions worksheet I handed out today. Look over the correction symbols, Parallel Structures sheet, and the Thesis Statement sheet to prepare for tomorrow's quiz. Everyone did well today.

What was homework today? Make an outline with you paper from Tuesday and do the Parallel Structures sheet and the Subordinate clauses sheet.

We worked on thesis statements and pre-writing today. Please work on this tonight and the rest of this week.
